Dharwad (DHNS) : The High Court bench of Dharwad has adjourned hearing the case pertaining to Union Minister of State for Skill Development Entrepreneurship Ananth Kumar Hegde allegedly assaulting a doctor at a Sirsi hospital, by a week.

Sirsi police had filed a suomoto case against the minister for allegedly assaulting the doctor at TSS Hospital in Sirsi on 13 August 2017 saying that he (the doctor) didn’t provide proper treatment to his ailing mother.The minister had requested the high court demanding quashing of FIR against him.

Judge Somashekar, who heard both sides of the arguments, continued the interim verdict and adjourned the case for a week.
