Is there a reason why some boys are so uncaring towards every girl they get into a relationship with? No particular reason at all, and nothing to do with boys or girls either. There are just decent human beings and complete jerks

No particular reason at all, and nothing to do with boys or girls either. There are just decent human beings and complete jerks. When you learn to differentiate between the two, you won't have to write in with a question like this ever again.
My friend dated a girl for six months, during which he was also seeing someone else without her knowledge. I didn't say anything because it was none of my business, until they ended that relationship and I started to get attracted to his ex-girlfriend. We go out a lot now and may get into a relationship because we like hanging out with each other. I don't know if I should tell her what I know about my friend though. She may ask me why I didn't say anything back then, and start to have doubts about my own ability to be faithful to her. At the same time, if she ever finds out about it from someone else and realizes that I knew what was happening at the time, she may never forgive me. How do I deal with this?
You weren't in a relationship with this girl at the time, and had no idea you would one day get into one. Your friend knows this too, as does this girl. If you believe you didn't say anything back then, and can justify your reasons, why does it have to be a problem now? Why not simply come clean? To lie, or simply not say something and hope this will be swept under the carpet, is to approach the future with dread. Wouldn't you rather just be honest right now, tell her what you know, explain why you didn't say anything before, and hope she understands? Why assume she will doubt your ability to stay faithful simply because your friend couldn't? You really ought to credit her with more intelligence.
