Kumta: A moving truck laden with cement packets accidentally caught fire near Mastihalla region in the taluk on 6th November, Monday evening.

Sources informed that the incident occurred when the truck was on the way to Mangaluru from Sirsi. The reason behind the raise of blazing fire wasn't known. Luckily, no one was injured.

As the information was alerted, the fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and were successful in rubbing it out. A long distance of traffic breakdown was occurred in the region due to the incident.
