(MENAFN) Three new eye-catching caves have been discovered in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Ministry of Tourism issued a statement announcing the discoveries, adding that a group of residents found the new caves.

Oman's historic caves have been featured in well-known international journals.

Caves in Oman are of varying types and lengths, sizes and geographic formations, and they attract large number of speleologists annually.
