Bhatkal: Three boys from Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, Bhatkal made the town proud after their awe-inspiring performance at the VTU inter-collegiate athletic meet held at Belagavi. The meet was held on November 03 to November 06, 2017.

Nevil Philip wins gold medal in 110m hurdles:

Philip Nevile Rodrigues won a gold medal in the 110m hurdles as he completed the run in a remarkable 16.18 seconds.‎

Khader and Saqlain bags bronze:

Abdul Khader Talal and Saqlain Shaikh grabbed bronze medals in Hammer throw and triple jump respectively.

In Hammer throw, Abdul Khader Talal bagged bronze with a throw of 31.65m, while Saqlain Shaikh wins bronze in the triple jump with 12.96m.
