The weather woman may have been stood in front of a gloomy backdrop however she stunned in a navy frock.

Wearing her blonde tresses down, the 55-year-old’s curves were impossible to miss as she told BBC viewers what they could expect over the new few days.

Carol’s number featured an art deco-style, V neckline as well as short sleeves and a clingy design.

The presenter simply finished off her ensemble with a couple of delicate bracelets and a fitness tracker.

“It’s pretty wet this morning, we’ve got a lot of cloud, some rain and across the Highlands and higher we’ve got some snow. But, generally this week it’s going to turn that bit milder,” Carol started.

She continued: “Low pressure is dominating our weather, bringing rain and drizzle from west to east, but we’re also being bathed in south westerly winds.

“As the rain moves away we will be left with a lot of cloud. It is the temperatures really that are of most interest.”

Carol revealed that it was much warmer than unusual for this time of year around 11 and 12 instead of seven and eight.

Tomorrow a new band will sweep in from the south west and milder conditions will start to move to Scotland.

There will be a lot of dry weather but, as the week progresses, the end is expected to be colder.
