NEW DELHI: Over 50 stocks, including Apex Frozen Food, Automotive Axles, Excel Industries, Linde India and Maruti Suzuki India hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's trade.

United Spirits, Minda Corporation, Radico Khaitan, Solar Industries India, Tata Global Beverages, Tata Metaliks, Tata Power Company, Vakrangee and Voltas were also among the stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs today.

On the contrary, 15 stocks, including Gangotri Textiles, Infomedia Press, Orbit Corporation, Samtel Color, Spacenet Enterprises and TV Vision hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE.

The NSE Nifty50 index was 16 points down at 10,268, while the BSE Sensex was 27 points down at 33,315 around 10.50 am (IST).

Barring auto, FMCG, realty and private bank indices, all other sectoral indices were in the red on NSE.

Nifty PSU Bank index declined over 1 per cent, with shares of Syndicate Bank, with a decline of 3 per cent, as the top loser.

Shares of Tata Power (number of shares traded: 1.18 crore), DLF (0.78 crore), Bank of Baroda (0.52 crore), Punjab National Bank (0.49 crore), YES Bank (0.45 crore) and State Bank of India (0.41 crore) were the most traded stocks on NSE.

Shares of Bharti Infratel, YES Bank, Bajaj Auto, GAIL, IndusInd Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Larsen & Toubro, Coal India and NTPC were the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

However, Ambuja Cements, Hindalco, Cipla, UltraTech Cement, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Zee Entertainment and Indian Oil Corporation were among the top losers.
