PATNA: Students, teachers and guests enjoyed various games and varieties of food at the fete organized at Bishop Scott Girl's School on Sunday. Stalls showcasing social issues were also put up at the fete. Disc jockey not only pulled the crowd but also compelled people to tap their feet. Chairman of the school Shailesh Prasad Singh, Bishop Scott Boys school chairman Abhishek Kumar Singh, director (finance) of Bishop Scott Girls' School Achyut Singh and director (public relations and administration) Bishop Scott Groups of Schools Nutan Singh were also present on the occasion.
School principal Lindsy Dayalkumar welcomed the guests and said such programme gives exposure to the children.
Annual day celebrated: Various cultural programmes marked the annual day celebrations of New Era High School at S K Memorial Hall here on Sunday. The students mesmerized the audience with the splendid performance on Marathi, Gujarati, Goan, Arabic and Chinese dance forms. Jungle dance presented by the students of nursery and Qawwali by the students of upper kindergarten won rounds of applause. State road construction minister Nand Kishore Yadav was the chief guest and stressed on the need of value based education.
