BICHOLIM: A body was recovered along the roadside near Nagnath Devasthan at Nanora-Mulgao on Sunday evening.
Bicholim police said that the victim was identified as Murad Ansari, 26, a native of Uttar Pradesh, who was working as a carpenter with B Interior unit in Bicholim.
On Sunday, he left his work place in the afternoon and was scheduled to meet a doctor as he was feeling unwell. But he did not return to his work place later that day. Ansari was subsequently spotted lying by the roadside by locals. Police suspect that he could have been knocked down by a speeding vehicle.
