Boxer Amir Khan, 30, and presenter Declan Donnelly, 42, hit out at one another over their celebrity status.

Ant McPartlin introduced the last celebrity to the line-up during tonight's opener, who turned out to be Amir.

Host Ant, 42, asked the former world champion if he was excited to be in the ITV jungle in Australia.

But, Amir explained: "I am excited, to be honest I’ve never watched the show."

Shocked, Dec playfully snapped back: "Well to be honest, I’ve never seen you fight! Let me at him!” as Ant said: "Get out, get out. You've upset me now."

All the celebrities laughed at the squabbling pair, before being told about their upcoming trials.

Ant revealed that Vanessa White would be Amir’s celebrity buddy and the latter walked over to Vanessa to say hello.

Dec then revealed: "You’ve now each got your buddy and believe me, you’re going to need them because you guys are in for the toughest start to I’m A Celebrity ever."

His co-presenter Ant added: "For the first few days you will exist on basic rations of rice and beans unless you have a meal ticket.”

Dec continued: "You’ll have the opportunity to win 10 meal tickets over the next few days, the first five can be won on your way into the jungle. Until you’ve won all 10, some of you are going to go hungry."

Ant concluded: "But we have some good news, right now we have your final feast, your last meal, so please make sure you eat well."
