Jaipur: Fog and smog in neighbouring Haryana and Delhi continued to affect air, road and rail traffic across the state. Even many places in the state, including Churu, Bikaner and Sriganganagar, also witnessed fog in the morning that affected the vehicular traffic on the highways.

People in Churu, Bikaner and Sriganganagar witnessed foggy morning which affected the visibility. Due to the fog, the visibility on the highways connecting Sikar-Churu and Churu-Bikaner was poor up to 150 metres. Vehicles including buses, trucks and cars were moving in slower pace.

Likewise, at least half-a-dozen early morning trains got delayed due to the fog in Haryana, Punjab and Delhi while a few remained cancelled. At Jaipur airport, the passengers were in anger and panic when they were told about the delayed flights to Delhi and other destinations.

The traffic on the national highway connecting Jaipur to Delhi was not yet improved as the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) were taking 9 to 12 hours to reach Delhi due to the long jams.

Thousands of passengers who started from Delhi at 6 am reached Jaipur at 5 pm and most of the buses got stuck between Kotputli-Jaipur and Gurgaon-Delhi.
