A passport of a certain kind can get you upgraded on all flights, great news for those who hate economy class.

However, it is hard to get your hands on one, as you have to be elected the leader of your own country, or be lucky enough to be related to them.

The special diplomatic passport, which is handed out to all Prime Ministers, Presidents and other world leaders.

One of the perks is travelling first class always, so that’s the champagne lifestyle for the spouses and children of heads of state.

Other selected government officials can also be nominated to receive the passport - so those such as Boris Johnson and Philip Hammond might enjoy the benefits of the special passport too.

There are other perks that go along with the special passport, including not have to apply for a visa to a great many countries.

As well as being upgraded to first class, holders of the passport are also likely to be treated with the utmost care at the airport, with access to the first class lounge.

In some countries the passport is confiscated when leaders step down from their role.

However, in the United States the passports are valid for life.

Unfortunately for most Britons they do have to go through the hassle of renewing their passport, but only every 10 years.

A BBC report found that high-level criminals are going online to common selling websites to sell illegal goods.

The Belfast Craigslist website shows one user selling an Irish passport for £1,000.
