With fears growing about the possible break out of World War 3, anti-nuclear demonstrators have taken to the street dressed as Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un in a humorous face-off between the two ‘leaders’.

Hundreds of people formed a human chain between the United States and North Korea embassies in Berlin, Germany to protest the escalating tension between the two nations.

Characters dressed as Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un paraded a mock nuclear missile through the streets of the German capital with other participants demanding the two nations “make peace, not war”.

Greenpeace and Paediatricians for the prevention of Nuclear War were among the international organisations to attend the protest in the German capital.

Alex Rosen, who was in attendance at the march, said the US and Russia’s possession of nuclear weapons “only raises the threat of war” on the Korean peninsula.

The US President started a furious rhetoric war with Kim Jong-un after the despot dictator said he would look to hit the US territory of Guam with an intercontinental ballistic missile.

Mr Trump promised to retaliate with “fire and fury”, even suggesting he would be willing to “totally destroy” the hermit nation if needs must.

Now, the American’s administration is further planning for the possibility of World War 3 by asking for emergency funds to bolster its defences against the rogue state’s missiles.

In an emergency request to Congress, Mr Trump’s Government asked for $4 billion to help combat the threat of North Korea.

Defence officials are concerned that the US missile defence system may not be sufficient to deter a North Korea attack.

It would also help military chiefs with extra cyber-weapons designed to interfere with Kim Jong-un’s missile systems and drones to shoot them down minutes after a possible launch.

Thomas Karako, a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies said: “What you’re seeing is a lot more options on the table.”
