Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd’s (M&M) Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the Mahindra Group and a leading tractor manufacturer (by volume), is showcasing its range of tractors and farm machinery at the Agritechnica Trade Fair in which it is participating for the first time. The world renowned agricultural technology exhibition is being held in Hanover, from November 12 to 18, 2017.

Agritechnica is the world’s leading international trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment and Mahindra has introduced its range of newly developed tractors - the 6000, 7000 and 9000 series - with patented mCRD technology, on this global platform. The company is also showcasing its machinery and equipment for soil tillage, along with sowing and harvesting products, technologies for automatic steering systems, new harvesters and a crawler tractor.

According to Rajesh Jejurikar, President – Farm Equipment Sector, M&M Ltd, “At Mahindra we are delighted to debut at the Agritechnica Trade Fair which is the perfect platform to showcase our range of tractors, agricultural equipment and services to a global audience. This prestigious exhibition brings the world’s best companies together on one platform and will definitely help us to highlight our world class offerings to one and all. In fact, our solutions for the agricultural sector are high-performance products that are affordable and help in increasing efficiency on the field, thereby ensuring farm tech prosperity”.

With its vision to continuously innovate the future of farm production and to drive farm prosperity across the world, Mahindra has brought into its fold leading agricultural machinery and technology companies to offer complete farm mechanisation solutions, ranging from tractors and implements to harvesters.

Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery of Japan, Sampo Rosenlew, Finland and Hisarlar, Turkey have enabled the company to gain a foothold in global markets, especially in segments such as paddy machinery, grain harvesters and advanced ground tilling machinery. Recently, the company also announced its second foray into Turkey through the acquisition of Erkunt Traktor Sanayii A.S. (Erkunt), the fourth largest tractor brand in Turkey. This association with Erkunt on the back of the Hisarlar acquisition earlier in the year will help in growing Mahindra’s farm equipment business in the strategic market of Turkey.
