Man Utd news: Paul Pogba reveals the most important thing from the win over Newcastle

PAUL POGBA revealed the most important thing from Manchester United’s victory over Newcastle.

Pogba was back in a United shirt after injury, starting the match and scoring as United beat Newcastle 4-1.

United also welcomed Zlatan Ibrahimovic back into the fold as he came on as a second half substitute.

But Pogba remained diplomatic and insisted the result was the most important thing.

"We won, we have the three points and that is most important thing,” Pogba said on BT Sport.

“Zlatan Ibrahimovic, me and Marcos Rojo came back from injury so we are happy.

"I see the same team and feel the same atmosphere. The season is very long, it is not about now, it is about the end. We just forget the criticism.

"It hurts when you are not playing, you want to help the team, but you just have to do your recovery."

United moved back into second after Chelsea had briefly overtaken them earlier with their win over West Brom.

But the gap at the top remains eight points after Manchester City dispatched Leicester.
