The six-day long ‘Indira Jan Adhikar Padyatra’ of Congress under banner of its social organisation Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan reached the Rajnandgaon headquarters on Wednesday.
The Congress exhibited show of strength at Rajnandgaon town where almost all the senior State Congress leaders including former Chhattisgarh cabinet minister Satyanarayan Sharma, former Leader of Opposition Ravindra Chaubey, former Minister Mohammed Akbar, former Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Dhanendra Sahu were prominently participated in a public meeting held on Wednesday at historic Jai Stambh Chowk.
Addressing a huge gathering on this occasion the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President, Bhupesh Baghel alleged that the Chief Minister Raman Singh and his government has no concern over the plights of common people.
He criticized the BJP Government for reducing the limit of distribution of rice in the ration card to 7 kgs instead of earlier 35 kgs.
