The latest round of accusations made by Arvind Kejriwal against Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to register him as surely the biggest ever ‘talking shop’ in Indian politics. His art of making claims and counter claims with much the same way is eventually taking him nowhere. Levelling charges against the PM of the country, saying that he may kill him and his party MLA’s are extremely serious. Modi is widely appreciated that he is not responding to the bundle of false charges hurled by ‘especially Kejriwal’ either against him or the BJP.
It is now a daily agenda for him to think how to abuse the Modi Government or at least defame the PM. Why is he doing so? What is his primary motive behind this malicious campaign? Is he started preparing for the next round of Assembly elections in Delhi, fearing that he might be bowled out permanently? Is this the way he is planning to remain in the media glaze?
However, this time PM Modi must reply to him and warn him that he has nothing to think about him. Modi should not avoid commenting on him unless it is required. By targeting the PM, Kejriwal is attracting people towards his social media outlets so that he can deflect their attentionfrom his total non-performance in the capital city. By using his flowery language and a purely dramatic style, he is of course entertaining the people of Delhi and around the country. His shift from activism to politics has not been proved to be fruitful so far and his Modi-bashing will not save Delhi from its troubles. It is felt that AAP does not need anyone to kill either the party or its supremo. In the process, it will kill both of them on their own.
Kejriwal may not have involved himself in this unwanted debates or projecting himself as a supercop to discipline the stalwarts of Indian politics. He has badly overestimated himself and his nascent party. And this may cost him much more in the days to come. He must learn from Chief Ministers like Naveen Patnaik, Manik Sarkar, PawanKuamrChamling etc. who are working with successive Union Governments having entirely different political ideologies for decades without any issue. Basically, he must learn how not to speak on non-issues. Hope he does and concentrates on the governance of Delhi.
