Washington D.C. [USA], Nov 17 : Supermodel Gigi Hadid has dropped out of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai at the last minute.
The 22-year-old took to Twitter to make the announcement but didn't reveal the reason.
"I'm so bummed I won't be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!! Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year! :) x," Hadid tweeted.
Gigi came under fire in September after a video of her appearing to mock a Buddha surfaced online.
The footage sparked many angry Chinese people to call her 'racist' and not to come to Shanghai.
Some have speculated that this could be the reason why she had pulled out.
