The month, which was the festive month in India with Diwali and other festivals, saw all Indian carriers in the country flying its planes with healthy load factors. SpiceJet flew its planes with 93.7%, of its seats full, which was highest in the country. GoAir followed SpiceJet by flying 87.6% of its seats full followed by IndiGo at 87.3%.

Commenting on highest load factors, Spicejet said: "This is the 31st month-in-a-row that SpiceJet has flown with load factors in excess of 90% --- a feat unparalleled in global aviation history. We have also clocked the best on-time performance at key metros like Bengaluru and Mumbai which speaks of the operational precision and efforts our team has put in," the airline said in an email statement.

IndiGo continues its pole position on operating flights in time, IndiGo operated maximum number of its flights in time by flying 83.9% of its flights on time followed closely by SpiceJet, which operated 83.3% of its flights in time. All other airlines operates less than 80% of its flights in time. Jet Airways operates the lowest number of its flights on time by operation only 64% of its flights in time.
