RAJKOT: Two employees of a Morbi-based ceramic unit were killed and four others injured when their car skidded off the road and overturned near Dhrangadhra on Friday morning.
The victims were working with Sunora Ceramics, which has four units in Morbi, and they were on their way to Gandhinagar to attend the Vibrant Gujarat Ceramics Exhibition.
Dhrangadra taluka police sources said car driver Harpalsinh Bhikhubhai tried to overtake a truck from the wrong side and the vehicle skidded off the highway near Dhumath village. It overturned several times, leaving Harpalsinh and Rahul Parmar dead on the spot.
The injured were identified as Raju Gohel, Ravi Aghara, Vijay Bhudarbhai and Sagar. The condition of two is said to be critical. tnn
