It can also capture some shocking images that end up solving a crime.
Eagle-eyed viewers once spotted a submerged car that ended up being part of a missing person case.
It isn’t the only example of a mystery being solved by Google Maps.

The Street View car spotted a man lying face down on the floor, whilst a man is next to him with a pickaxe.
A Google Street View user then contacted the police after spotting the shocking image.
Yet the scary image has a much more hilarious reason behind it and in fact isn't a murder mystery at all.
