Sridevi’s daughter to make her debut with Dhadak

Veteran actor Sridevi’s daughter, Janhvi, who was speculated to make an entry into Bollywood this year, has now been officially launched by Karan Johar in Dhadak, which had its first look posters released yesterday.

Starring Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khattar as the male lead, the film is expected to be the Hindi remake of Nagraj Manjule’s Marathi blockbuster Sairat, given that  Karan holds the remake rights for the film.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is expected to go on the floors this December. Dhadak will be co-produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions.
