A 46-year-old man was today found killed in Sanath Nagar area here, police said.
The body of V Srinivas Rao, who is into education consultancy, was spotted by some locals in the early hours and they informed the police, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Balanagar Zone) Y Sai Sekhar.
"There were head injuries and he might have been hit with a wooden log," the DCP said.
Asked about reports that the deceased was associated with the TRS, the senior police official said they are verifying their veracity.
A murder case has been registered and further probe is on, he added.
