RAJKOT: During the checking of vehicles at a check post near Morbi, A division police station officials of Morbi police found Rs 12 lakh cash from a car on Tuesday night.
"The vehicles were being checked at the check post near Ajanta factory. We intercepted a car and seized the cash from it. We have detained the car driver, identified as Rajesh Lalpara, a resident of Yogi Apartment in Morbi and begun his interrogation to find out about the source of the cash," an official from the A division police station said.
"We have also informed the income tax department about the seizure," the official added.
