The seven-year-old victim's father, through counsel Sushil K. Tekriwal, also opposed the bus conductor's bail plea, saying that since the CBI had not given clean chit to him, he should not be given bail.

The CBI on Thursday opposed a bail plea of bus conductor Ashok Kumar in the Ryan International school murder case. It told a court in Gurugram that there was no incriminating evidence against him in the murder case so far, but a clean chit had not been granted to him. The court fixed November 20 as next date of hearing in the matter.

During the hearing that lasted for more than two hours, the CBI counsel argued before the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Rajni Yadav that the investigation in the case was at a sensitive stage and a clean chit was not given to anyone.

The seven-year-old victim's father, through counsel Sushil K. Tekriwal, also opposed the bus conductor's bail plea, saying that since the CBI had not given clean chit to him, he should not be given bail.

Ashok's relatives were also present in the court during the hearing.

Ashok's counsel Mohit Verma had moved his bail application two days after the CBI apprehended a juvenile in connection with the murder on November 8. Earlier, the Gurugram police arrested Ashok and accused him of committing the murder after a failed attempt to sexually assault the victim.
