Copra office Alappuzha and copra office Kozhikode surged in an otherwise listless spices market here today following sustained demand from stockists and retailers amidst good offtake from exporters.
Meanwhile, other spices ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying.
Copra office Alappuzha firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 13,200 from Wednesday's close Rs 13,100 and copra office Kozhikode rose by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 13,100 as against Rs 12,900, yesterday.
