Woman Steals Food, Cash By Climbing Through McDonald's Window

If you like McDonald's, chances are you know about the Hamburglar - McDonald's fantasy character who steals hamburgers. Who knew the character could have a real life version too. A video, and its many versions, circulating online, show a woman in Maryland, US, climbing through a McDonald's drive-thru window to steal food and cash. The woman has been caught on camera and police is now offering a reward up to $500 to anyone who can share information about her.

The video has been posted on Facebook and Twitter by Howard County Police. It shows the woman first sliding through the window and stealing a drink. Upon noticing no one watching, she can be seen climbing inside the drive-thru counter to steal more things.

"RECOGNIZE THIS SUSPECT? REWARD OFFERED!" says a post shared along with the video. "At approximately 1 a.m. on Nov. 5, the suspect entered through the drive-thru window and stole cash and food. Detectives are offering a reward of up to $500 for information in this case."
 

The video, since being shared on November 15, has collected over 1.5 lakh views and more than 1,800 shares. The video has collected quite a few comments.

"I think she was just applying to be the hamburgler," says one Facebook user on the video. "She climbed through that window like a ninja, no wonder no one noticed her," jokes another.
