Dhadak photos: Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor are grabbing attention with their raw freshness

Internet has been buzzing ever since Karan Johar unveiled the posters of Dhadak -- the remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat, revealing that it'll be the much awaited launchpad for two of Bollywood's most-sought-after star kids, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter. Helmed by Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame Shashank Khaitan, the latest photos from the Dhadak team have already got our hearts racing. Have a look:

Talking about Dhadak being the official remake of Sairat, director Shashank Khaitan told PTI, "The basic premise is of differences in caste, honour killing and what it means to survive in that world and I feel that is the conflict that is alive all across India, you will hear stories like that. So in that sense, the basic premise is same. But there are variations. My story is based on another set up... It is (set) in Rajasthan. It comes with its own challenges, conflicts and style of a love story."

Shashank Khaitan, who will direct Dhadak had previously helmed Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

In the first poster of Dhadak, where Ishaan and Janhvi are doing the signature Bollywood embrace, their freshness is infectious. Dhadak is hitting the screens on July 16 next year.

What caught our attention in the other set of posters is Ishaan and Janhvi's de-glam avatar which is making their innocence the standing point of the film. Though this is Janhvi's Bollywood debut, we have previously seen her sizzling ensembles at a number of Bollywood parties.

On Thursday morning, another one of Dhadak's poster was released and unlike the last four, this poster featured Janhvi and Ishaan's full-fledged looks from the film. Wearing colorful attires, looking at the photos Ishaan and Janhvi are doing justice to the Marathi hit Sairat.

On the other hand, Ishaan's debut film will be Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds, which is said to release in February next year.

Doesn't Janhvi's look remind you of a younger version of Sridevi in this latest still? Well, if anything, she has definitely got her mother's eyes.
