HYDERABAD: Following A Revanth Reddy’s migration to Congress, the ruling TRS has intensified its efforts to woo more leaders from the TDP into its fold. Administering a severe blow to the yellow party, the pink party leadership on Wednesday succeeded in inducting TDP’s Jayashankar-Bhupalpally district unit president Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, Rajanna-Sircilla district unit head A Narsinga Rao and Manthani Assembly constituency in charge K Nagaiah into TRS.
All these three leaders, who were once considered as close associates of Revanth Reddy, on Wednesday embraced TRS in the presence of IT Minister K T Rama Rao at Telangana Bhavan. Addressing the newly joined leaders and their followers on the occasion, KTR said TDP no longer exists in the State. “TDP has completely vanished from the State. Our only rival is Congress. We all should teach a fitting lesson to the Congress, which is creating hurdles for the State’s development,” he said.
