Have a couple of days off, and looking for something fun to do with friends or family? Keen to get away for the weekend? Rent a bicycle from Cycle Zens and set out on a trip to Alibaug.
The bicycle rental company has tied up with a resort in the coastal town to offer participants brunch and access to the swimming pool once they arrive at the destination. "The idea is to get more people to take up cycling as a form of fitness. With this kind of ride, there is a reward at the end, too," says co-founder Peter Rodrigues. If a group of 10 people signs up, a representative from the company will accompany them throughout. Smaller groups, however, will have to undertake the trip on their own.

He adds that they often host themed rides in the city. "We have conducted a 21-day challenge in the past, where participants were required to cycle to work every day for three weeks. The person who clocked the most miles won a bicycle as a prize," he adds.

Rodrigues shares that they are also planning a cycling treasure hunt in Malad, which will end at a resort in the neighbourhood.
