Police are reminding people to be vigilant about locking their doors after a homeowner in Norfolk County, south of Brantford, found a drunken stranger napping in the bathroom.
The OPP says they were called by the alarmed Simcoe homeowner late Tuesday night, after the inebriated visitor was discovered around 10:47 p.m.
It was determined that a 24-year-old man who was heavily intoxicated had entered the residence and fallen asleep on the bathroom floor.
Police say the man was taken to the correct address and no charges were laid at the request of the homeowner.
