A private TV channel, in a sting operation carried out on the civil premises, showed bench clerks and office clerks purportedly accepting bribes from clients to expedite their work.

The sting operation was aired yesterday.

The clerks were purportedly shown taking money to give dates to the clients, furnish bail bonds, get certified copies of documents etc.

The suspended bench clerks and office clerks were posted in different courts of the district.
