This is Abhinav Kaul and I will take you through the motions of today’s session on Dalal Street and bring you cues and trading tips from market veterans for the upcoming trading sessions.

After sliding for three consecutive sessions, the domestic equity market made a sharp rebound on Thursday.

All the sectoral indices on NSE closed in the green with PSU banks taking the lead, followed by IT and realty counters.

All the recent battered stocks shined in trade on value-buying by investors at lower levels.

BSE Sensex jumped 346 points to 33,107. IT major Infosys stood among top gainers and Adani Ports as the worst laggard.

Nifty climbed 1 per cent to end at 10,215.

Turning the tables, the stock of Reliance Communications witnessed a sharp rebound on Thursday, which saw it to settle 19 per cent higher at Rs 12 on NSE.

Shares of Page Industries witnessed the biggest spike in open interest at 33 per cent, followed by Voltas, Cholamandalam Investment, Indian Bank and Mahanagar Gas.
