Crisil to buy data analytics firm Pragmatix for Rs 56 crore

Rating agency today said it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100 per cent stake in data analytics company Pragmatix Services Pvt Ltd for Rs 56 crore.

Pragmatix is focused on delivering solutions to the banking, financial services and (BFSI) vertical.


The companies expect to close the during the first quarter of 2018, said in a release here.

The Rs 56-crore is subject to various regulatory approvals, it added.

"Pragmatix's expertise and proprietary platform will enable to offer big data analytics, and broaden solutions in the financial services space.
