OSRTC link to Hyderabad

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) is all set to start bus services from Bhubaneswar to Telangana capital, Hyderabad. OSRTC officials informed that two Scania buses will operate between the two cities.
“We had procured two Scania buses and had applied for permission from the transport department to start services from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad and vice-versa. We got permission recently,” OSRTC Chairman-cum-Managing Director KB Singh told The Express.
“The bus services from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad will start within 10 days,” Singh asserted. OSRTC officials informed that the two Scania buses were purchased at a cost of `1.13 crore each.
The existing AC buses are operating from Bhubaneswar to Malkangiri, Cuttack to Nabarangpur, Angul to Damanjodi, among others.
Singh also stated that OSRTC will provide AC bus services during the upcoming Hockey World League scheduled at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar starting December 1.
