Enjoy movies, coffee, kayaking and bonfire on a chilly night at a campsite escape along the Bhatsai
Raw camping is always a big hit with the more seasoned, but it's only a matter of time until it turns into an irksome affair with mosquitoes, humidity and inexperience getting the better of the unsuspecting, amateur camper. But there's nothing that a great idea can't fix. Travel and experience company Let's Get Lost is organising a glamping trip with all the comforts taken care of, as well as movie screenings under the stars. The campsite is on the banks of the Bhatsai river in Vasind, with the Mahuli mountains flanking the gorgeous landscape.

Founder Aparna Mohan describes glamping as an emerging American trend that combines glamour and camping to ease the inconveniences that traditional camping comes with. "Not everyone is comfortable with finding a bush or lighting a fire," laughs Mohan, as she explains the facilities offered during the trip. Complete with a live barbecue dinner, electricity supply and travel-themed movies playing on a huge screen while you enjoy your cowboy coffee and marshmallows roasted over a bonfire, the excursion offers the much- needed escape from the city without compromising on comfort.
A two-hour kayaking experience in the river followed by group activities is on the itinerary as well. "We want to make camping fun and interesting, not weary," says Mohan. Swim, fish, or swing off a tree into the gorgeous Bhatsai river to wrap up the weekend.
