The Strictly Come Dancing star was paired with antiques expert Christina Trevanion for today’s show, which saw them travel across south east England. 

And while Christina was quick to point out interesting items that could help them win the challenge, Debbie was slightly sceptical about some antiques and wasn’t afraid of voicing her opinion. 

As the rummaged around one store, the expert picked out an eye-catching necklace, which the shop owner revealed was not really made of amber beads despite its convincing appearance.

Christina wondered whether or not they could get away with selling it for a high price despite the revelation that it was not truly amber. 

But Debbie wasn’t keen on taking a risk and threatened her partner, insisting that if they bought it, it must make a profit. 

“We might fall out if it doesn’t make any money,” the 59-year-old declared before holding her fists up at the expert. 

She cheekily added: “It may be small but it nips!”

Christina was stunned by Debbie's reaction to the controversial item as she gasped: “Debbie McGee!”

While the pair may not have agreed on the necklace, they certainly got along very well as they drove around the south east. 

Debbie opened up about her decision to pursue show business, explaining: “Well my mum watched all the Hollywood musicals and I used to dance around the house copying them as I’m sure every girl does so I was sent to a little dancing school. 

“I didn’t actually mind if I was an actress, a ballet dancer or commercial dancer, I just loved the glamour. It was all about the glamour, I wanted to be like the Hollywood movie stars.”
