The CSR Journal Excellence Awards 2017 concludes

Mumbai : The best Corporate and Citizen Social Responsibility projects initiated by corporate houses and NGOs in India, were honoured at the recently concluded ‘The CSR Journal Excellence Awards 2017’. Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis was the chief guest and special guests were Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister of Finance and Planning and Forests departments, Government of Maharashtra and Kripashakar Singh, Ex- Minister of state in Maharashtra, for the awards.
The event was hosted by Antra Bhargava, Cluster Head, Business and Strategy at Gleneagles Global Hospitals and Aman Verma, television and theatre artist. The CSR Journal Excellence Awards 2017 saw corporate and NGOs receive recognition for their unique initiatives, through a live judging process. The 11 members’ jury panel consisted of senior-level bureaucrats, internationally recognised social-changemakers and leading public figures. This decorated evening welcomed a gathering of over 250 personnel from the social responsibility sphere.
Fadnavis encouraged everyone to do one good deed every day and put the nation as their first priority. He also addressed the gathering and said, “Our society gives better life opportunities to every individual. Now we have to contribute for betterment of society to give back something.”
