This groom’s demand for a SUV (Semi Utility Vehicle) landed him in trouble and dismay on his wedding night itself.
According to a report by NDTV, a groom in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh demanded a SUV (Semi Utility Vehicle) from the bride’s family, but unfortunately had to walk out of the venue empty handed when the bride called off the wedding. Additional Superintendent of Police Prabal Pratap Singh told to the website, "On the wedding night on Sunday, the groom threatened the bride's family he would call off the wedding if they did not give him an SUV."
Following the demand, the bride’s family got angry and shut doors of the wedding hall, not allowing the groom and his family to leave the premises. The two families tired to bargain on the demand and arrive at a healthy conclusion, but it was of no avail.
The groom’s adamant nature forced the bride to walk out of the venue and call of the wedlock, the police officer added.
