The Madras High Court on Monday adjourned by two weeks a public interest litigation petition filed by activist ‘Traffic’ K.R. Ramaswamy seeking a direction to the State government to shift the memorials of former Chief Ministers C.N. Annadurai, M.G. Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa from the Marina Beach here.
Chief Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice M. Sundar also directed the Registry to tag it along with a similar case already pending in the court and posted both of them for hearing after a fortnight as requested by Advocate General Vijay Narayan.
