Plaint against former MLC
A case was filed against Go. Madhusudhan, former MLC, and an anchor of a Kannada news channel in Shahpur on Monday. T. Shashidhar, the complainant, alleged that Mr. Madhusudhan and the anchor had deliberately insulted the Constitution during a panel discussion on Tipu Jayanti in the State recently.
He said in the complaint that both the accused allegedly damaged the integrity and unity of the country by making such statements when a panel discussion was on air and therefore action be taken against them.
The Bahujan Samaj Party also extended its support to the protest march.
