Rajkot: Beginning November 28, high fliers from the city can take chartered flights to six Gujarat cities and Udaipur in Rajasthan.
City-based Poojara Telecom, which recently started chopper service to Dwarka and Somnath from Rajkot, has received the approval from Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to start seven- seater non-scheduled charter service to seven destinations - Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Bhuj, Bhavnagar, Diu and Udaipur. All routes within Gujarat will take 30 to 50 minutes.
Director of the firm Rahil Poojara told TOI: The service to Udaipur will also help cater to people going to Nathdwara,
The company claims it has 100 per cent occupancy in the chopper service to Dwarka and Somnath and they are now planning one to Ambaji too. Poojara Telecom, which is into mobile retail, recently floated aviation company named 'T3 Air'.
