In view of foggy weather condition, all primary and secondary schools, including the private ones, in Punjab's Mohali district will now start at 10 am, according to an official release.
Schools will open at 10 am and close at 3 pm till November 18. The decision was taken by Mohali District Magistrate Gurpreet Kaur Sapra, it said.
Schools normally start between 8 and 8.15 am.
"Foggy weather conditions are affecting normal life. Children are also facing problems in going to schools... Keeping this in mind, the timing of schools have been changed," Sapra said.
