KOCHI: Poet Poornathrayee Jayaprakash won the 22nd Malayalam Literary Award instituted in the name of M K Harikumar’s ‘Aatmayaanangalude Khasak’, a study on O V Vijayan’s ‘Khasakkinte Ithihasam’. Jayaprakash won the award for his poem ‘Sooryanurangunnu’ (Sun is sleeping). Kerala Lalithakala Akademi chairman T Sathyapal presented the award at a function at Tripunithura Mahatma Library inaugurated by John Fernandez MLA.
