Around 30 youth, caregivers and housewives participated in a training session in basic nursing procedures at KLE University’s Institute of Nursing Sciences. The two-week-long training covered emergency procedures and life saving techniques.
Sudha Raddi, Dean and Principal of the institute, emphasised the need for training youth and family members. She also spoke of recent research findings in the field. Inner wheel club president Swati Kulkarni distributed certificates.
Anju Agarwal, secretary of the club; Ashok Kamat, head of the Nursing Foundation Department; and others were present.
