VADODARA: Chief minister Vijay Rupani on Sunday joined the raging debate over removal of Article 370 from Kashmir and said that this was one of the several dreams that BJP workers wish would come true. Rupani was addressing a 'shibir' of ambarish sena (volunteers) of Yogi Divine Society promoted by Hariprasad Swami, the leader of Sokhda Swaminarayan sect at Haridham-Sokhda near here.
He also raked up the Ram temple issue and implementation of uniform civil code in the country.
"It is dream of BJP workers that Ram Rajya is established across the country. Ram temple is made in Ayodhya, article 370 is removed and the common civil code is implemented.
We want terrorism rooted out and unemployment and corruption are eradicated," said Rupani said. Rupani's statement on article 370 comes in the backdrop of the recent controversy that has broken out after National Conference president Farooq Abdullah's statement that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir will become uncontrollable if article 370 gets repealed.
