GURUGRAM: A teddy bear, a bag and a water bottle were among the things used by the CBI to recreate the crime scene inside the bathroom of Ryan International School, Bhondsi, on Saturday when the juvenile murder accused was made to visit the school. The soft toy was used in place of seven-year-old Pradhyumn.
The CBI team, including at least 15 persons in three SUVs, reached the school around 11.30am on Saturday and left at 3.30pm. The gates of the school were immediately closed to stop the entry of mediapersons.
The 50 teachers who were present in the school were asked to describe the sequence of events as witnessed, sources told TOI. The school has 70 teachers but the primary school teachers were excluded from questioning, they added.
The CBI team also visited the school on Friday and interrogated the school staff from 10am to 9pm. Nine teachers who taught the juvenile or were involved with his education in some way were extensively questioned on Friday, according to sources.
On Saturday, the 16-year-old juvenile was paraded in front of the teachers who were asked if he had approached them on the day of the murder.
The teachers were categorically asked on both days if the boy confessed the crime to them at any point of time but no one affirmed the same, sources told TOI.
After the visit to the school, the juvenile was taken to the juvenile court in Vikas Sadan in a car with black, tinted windows.
The CBI revealed on Tuesday that the juvenile, a student of class 11, was the prime suspect in the Pradhyumn Thakur murder case. The CBI team took him to the Sohna market on Thursday to identify the shop from where the murder weapon was allegedly bought.
