PATNA: Finance minister in BJP-led NDA-1 and a persistent critic of the Modi government, Yashwant Sinha called for the removal of Arun Jaitley from the Cabinet for "messing up" GST that had created huge amount of confusion and was still undergoing revisions.
Sinha also said that his son and Union minister Jayant Sinha, named in the Paradise Papers, should be investigated along with BJP chief Amit Shah's son, Jay Shah, for allegations of benefiting from crony capitalism. Jayant has publicly disagreed with his father on these issues. Sinha said, "FM Jaitley did not apply his mind on GST. Therefore, PM Modi should remove him."
