Entry ban leaves trucks stranded

GURUGRAM: Over a 100 trucks have been stranded on Delhi-Gurgaon expressway after they were denied entry into Delhi. These trucks were allowed to enter Gurgaon as they were Delhi-bound. But the national capital didn't allow them to enter and now they are stuck.


Starting Thursday, Gurgaon police had started to turn back heavy vehicles which were not Gurgaon or Delhi-bound. However, the Delhi-bound trucks are now parked on expressway service lane. These include empty trucks which are returning to Delhi after delivery to other. But they were halted at the border on Thursday.
