Airtel's New 70 GB Rs 448 Prepaid Plan, Rs 499 Infinity Postpaid Plan

Bharti Airtel, the country's largest telecom services provider, has announced new offers for both postpaid and prepaid customers. Airtel postpaid customers can avail 20 GB of mobile data at Rs 499, with carryover facility, under the new Infinity Plan. Airtel prepaid customers can get 70 GB data at Rs 448, the company said on Wednesday. Airtel's refreshed offers come after Vodafone announced Vodafone RED national and international postpaid plans on Tuesday. The offers from both Airtel and Vodafone come as the mobile operators battle an intense competition in the telecom sector in the wake of Reliance Jio's aggressive offering.

Airtel prepaid plan at Rs 448

For prepaid customers, Airtel has launched a new bundled pack with voice and data benefits, inclusive of free roaming. Priced at Rs 448, this Airtel prepaid pack offers 70 GB data for 70 days. The pack is available to all customers across India on any 4G/3G/2G device. This prepaid plan of Airtel also provides unlimited local and STD calls. Customers can activate the pack by visiting any Airtel retail outlet or through MyAirtel App.  

Airtel Infinity postpaid plan at Rs 499

Customers who subscribe to Airtel Infinity postpaid plan get 20 GB 4G/3G data at Rs 499 per month, said Airtel in a release. This plan also comes enabled with a data rollover feature, which allows customers to carry forward their unused data subject to a maximum limit of 200 GB to the next billing cycle. They can check their data usage and balance through MyAirtel app.

Additional benefits of Airtel Infinity plan

This plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls to customers. The refreshed Rs 499 Infinity postpaid plan comes with free Airtel secure device protection plan for smartphones against physical damage and malware. Customers also get free subscription to Wynk Music that offers close to 3 million songs and Airtel TV that offers LIVE TV and thousands of popular shows and movies, according to an Airtel statement.

Meanwhile, customers of Airtel's home broadband connection will now be able to carry forward their unused data to the next month, the company said on Tuesday.
